Discussing how horrible it is that 1.1 billion people do not have access to clean water, we decided that something could be done to lessen this number. From there, we contacted some friends and started to organize our efforts. Ben had known about the 410 Bridge Organization from his church already, and after researching it thoroughly, it was decided that 410 Bridge would be the best organization to operate through. Twelve friends showed up to the first meeting and we laid out the basics of what this organization would be. We asked everyone if they were up to the challenge, and with the response being a resounding yes, the entire endeavor began to seem tangible. We knew how long of a road it would be to reach our goal of $50,000, but being able to feed off of each other's passion for the cause made the entire thing seem obtainable.
